Welcome to the beautiful Lake Huron shoreline at Ipperwash Beach. One of the longest freshwater beaches in Ontario, Ipperwash Beach has 3 main access points just off West Ipperwash Road, Ipperwash Road, and Army Camp Road. In addition, there are several Crown-owned properties operated by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry/Infrastructure Ontario that offer beach access, parking and seasonal washrooms.
Beach access in Ipperwash is limited to public access areas only and visitors enjoying the beach are asked to be respectful of private property, be mindful of others’ quiet enjoyment of the beach, refrain from accessing or damaging the dunes, and to pick up after themselves. Enjoy your visit. Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints.
Pinery has nine day-use beaches, two of which are dog friendly. Pinery Provincial Park is located eight kilometres south of Grand Bend and boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Ontario, offering day visits, camping and 10 kilometres of sandy beach and dunes.
